No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks.
School's out, for a couple of weeks. But I have three papers to turn in before I'm done. I cranked out another page of one of them last night and should be able to finish a decent draft before the end of the day.
I had a scone for breakfast yesterday morning, oatmeal and an apple and some free Chex Mix for lunch, and a really awesome salad and some orange juice for dinner. There was protein - it had beans and seeds on it. It's just that time of year when heavy things aren't as tasty. I went home and again neglected the tiramisu.
More papers to read.
And the state of the union to ponder.
And all that jazz.

Oatmeal for lunch? Does your break room have a microwave or something?

A microwave and a water cooler with a heater spoutYou've got crazy discipline skilz when it comes to that tiramisu.
I like how the warm weather works to make me eat more fruits and veggies as opposed to cake and cookies and milk.
I cut out fat from my breakfasts and lunches for a good 6 months or so two years ago and I lost about 12 lbs. I ate my fats at dinner. But be careful, because you need fat for your brain to function. I'm trying to get back into the fat-deprivation. That's the only thing you SHOULD deprive yourself of. Oh and too much sugar and carbs.
I admire your work ethic when it comes to your schoolwork, maaan. I'm gonna need to cultivate that before June - so out of practice!

So far, I'm all bark and no bite. I did write another paragraph and a half of the paper, but I have about three more to go for a first revision to be done. Perhaps I'll do that now.@BoureeMusique -
*lol* I used to be the queen of last-day papers the last time I was in college so any work done before last-second seems miraculous to me.
