| | Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been really busy with drill and school. Anyway, in this order, here are the days that I didn't post...
Sunday-At church I got confimed. That means thaat there is no more sonfimation for me. Im not saying that confimation was a bad thing, its just that it got in the way alot. So yea, a whole bunch of people cam and watched, and then they all came over for a little brunch thing. They ended up spending the whole day with us. Lol! Good times.
Monday-School...That was boring.
Tuesday-School again...That was really boring. I had a doctors app. Although they took the cast off the Dr. siad that I still couldn't ride for 6 months, and they are going to take one of the pins out on the 26th.
Wednesday-School...That was really boring, and then there was drill. The girls did really well. They worked on preticing the drill for the following saturdays, competition!
Thursday-School...Again, extemely boring. Went down to the barn and saw Herk. then I went home and did homework.
Friday-I didn't go to school becuse we were leaving early for the Vancouver for our drill competition!!! I rode with Crystal, Valerie, and Jenna C. That was a long but fun ride down. we stopped and shopped at Clairs! Lol! We got to the arena where we were competing at really early because we wanted to get first dibs on corrals, and we got the least muddiest ones! Lol! Anyway, then the team split off and everyone went to dinner, once everyone was there. The horses were doing great and we were all looking forward to the drill competition.
Saturday- I had to get all the girls up at 6am to feed all of there horses. That was just a little early for me. After that everyone went back to bed for an hour until walk throughs started. I stayed in bed for an extra 30 mins though, because I didn't feel good. Hehehe! Lol! So yea, the Karlee and Kaylen got all ready for the flag presentations, but then they ended up not foing the individual team flags because there was so many teams. (There was 12 teams total) Anyway, everyone got ready for our first competion and they did really well, or at least I thought so! But yea, Im so proud of them. Then we all had lunch and got ready for our next competition and we did walk throughs. Then they went to the gate to do short program!!! They nailed it!! Bonnie did the best peel the apple I have ever seen!!!! OMG!! Im so proud of all the girls. The team watched quads and then there was awards!! This was the best part. We took 9th in freestyle out of 12. Which is not bad. And in short program we took 6th out of 11 teams!!! Omg, no first year team, let alon youth, takes that kind of place!! That is so good!! Lol! I was exstatic!!! After that Everyone started to pack up to leave. Chrissy, Bonnie, Kaylen, Dani and I, with our families, stayed the night again. We got to put the horses in the back of the arena area so that they wouldn't have to stand in the rain all night. So that was good. Kaylen, Bonnie, Dani, and I all stayed in one of the trailers that was vaccent and gossiped all night. Lol! that was fun!
Sunday-By 9:30 that morning everyone was ready to leave. We all siad our good byes and left. ::Tear:: Lol! It was overall a good competition!! Im so proud of all the girls!!
