Hi, i love your poem. I was just asking on a blog last night about how I could write a decent poem. I like the dancing part. Nice poem :)
Peace and Love:)
Wonderful! I'm sending this to my daughter, Noelle , a freshman @ Calvin College . She's a budding poet, and minoring in dance. I LOVE the second stanza.....I'm dancing (in spirit), basking in an image of basking in His light...
Thank you (as always) for sharing your gift....Jim
I really like this one. I won't mess with it. Beautiful.
I didn't realise about the pictures! *Shame*. But it was funny, because I was looking at them and going "those trees look familiar. Oh well." One of those things. The other day, I lost my watch. I looked at my hand in the middle of the day and sort of went "oh, my watch isn't there. Oh well." 3 hours later I went "AAAH, MY WATCH IS GONE!!!"
Sweet poem. They just keep coming from you.
Nice poem Breath. I have a feeling we will continue to see expressions of beauty such as this posted here.
Everyone is afaid to touch this one.
Oh I'm not afirad..... *cough* *cough*.... I'm merely lacking in artistic inspiration.
What is that saying "fools rush in where angels fear to tread...." I'm no fool! So when someone isn't afraid to try, is the idea to keep the thread going or just pick up where you left off with my own creation?

Sweet Celestial Music... music of the spheres, whispers, whispers of stories of an eternal land in which There is no more sorrow, no more night; nor death nor dying there and where the King, stoops low, majesty His robe, and reaches out tender touch to caress away all tears until they f a l l no more.
nice visual effect there, fishtree. creates an impact at the end.
Drawn into the silence Deeper than the night Darkness only finds me Dancing in the light
Many fear to follow Most afraid to shine Madness smothers passion Mediocrity resigned
Not me, uh, no thank you Never will I relent Nothing now can stop me Not without God, my friend
And I would like to thank you for your comment on my site. Liberating. I often find myself arguing with myself. For some reason I have it in my head that my ideas and desires are merely flights of fancy... impossible whimsical dreams... For someone to tell me just to be myself; that is liberating and refreshing and touching.
Nice poems. I love the shape, fishtree! It feels sincere.
Fishtree, very creative! I like :)! Visual onomatopoeia. You've captured visually some of what I felt and tried to put into words, knowing all the while I wasn't reaching the expression of it. Nice. Very nice.
Infinite_upon_infinite, thanks for picking that up. I wanted to continue the theme of every first letter, but it just wouldn't come for me. :(
Tim, the idea is to do what moves you. Or not, as the case may be.
mmhmm... if only others knew it. If only my friends knew this feeling. If they knew they could feel like this, they would throw their souls into His hands. It is no instant gratification, no guilt, no emptiness after.... just fulfillment and joy. To think one can go higher... that's absolutely amazing.

Sweet celestial music
Sparkling harmonies
Soft euphonic rhythm
Scented heavenly breeze
Drawn into the silence
Deeper than the night
Darkness only finds me
Dancing in the light
Many fear to follow
Most afraid to shine
Madness smothers passion
Mediocrity resigned
Not me, uh, no thank you
Never will I relent
Nothing now can stop me
Not without God, my friend
