Today is All Souls' Day, the day we remember all who have gone before us.
**********************
Shelter me O Lord
Hide me in the shadow your wing
Be thou my refuge, my strong habitation,
Where I may run and be safe
Until the storm has passed.

Funny (not haha) how we cannot appreciate the shelter God provides till we are in the midst of a storm!

Let's see if this link will work. I don't think you have to login to read it. It isn't protected. Funny thing is, it's the same thing I posted over here ...

I'm not linking to any of his whines and rants on his journal. Let him sulk alone.
[The sad thing is that so many people are like baby birds, waiting with their squawking little mouths open to devour any regurgitated garbage someone wants to feed them, never stopping to question the motivation behind what they are being told, never stopping to ask whether this or that is true, or where the idea came from, how it started. ]
I always tried to look for the words to put this wisdom into paragraph form and you did it so beautifully without effort. I definetly know what you mean. This is awesome. I will be quoting you in several debates and disscussions in the future.
ryc if they can't tell by what we write.... Good point, we don't have to beat anyone over the head, whether on xanga or in the "real" world. It should just be obvious that we care. (looks like John has a tatoo ^).

Nice prayer. Thanks for sharing it.
RYC: Some cat must indeed have my tongue. I am finding it nigh impossible to make any progress on my next post even though I know what it will be about with a fair degree of detail. Perhaps it is writer's block. More likely it is sheer sloth.
Hey Dawn,
Thanks for checking in on me. I'm back in the states. I'll update my blog soon. All is well.
Blessings,
Deborah
