Desert heat.....

Can't wait to take pics like this myself. 'Till then, yeah, another google image search....

It's getting hot today. And of course any desert rat knows that as one adjusts to the climbing temps, one simply must stay cool.....

So, in keeping with that

Mmmmm enjoy the dessert in your desert!!
And yes, fear is smelled a mile away... my, er, "net" seems to be my willingness to talk to people. It usually gets me into "trouble" but it is who I am, and so even if I flinched because I knew intrinsically an unknown character was approaching me, I find myself flooded with love for every soul that crosses my path... what a catch 22... being a chick and protecting yourself, and being a human and loving all.

Got an extra spoon? Hehe. I did get some shots of the baby swan today. I have to wait until I get home this evening to load them onto my computer. I had to stay pretty far away. The mother, as expected, was being very protective. Hopefully, if they're not too blurry, I'll post them later tonight.

Did you know that mint chocolate chip used to be my favorite ice cream as a kid. I still really enjoy it, though I'd be hard pressed to settle on that alone as an exclusive favorite. It sounds very good right now, in fact: a comfort food, and I haven't eaten ice cream in months.
