Endings and beginnings

Life is full of endings and beginnings

Sometimes those endings are painful, exquisitely painful.
It's okay to feel the pain. It's necessary to feel the pain.
It's okay, and it's necessary to feel the grief.
Grief is not caused by demons. Grief is a part of life.
A natural part.

Sometimes people get stuck in the pain and grief
I know; that used to be me

But in all my years under the sun,
I have seen that beyond every ending
Is a new beginning
A new adventure to explore.

Beyond the shadows of the darkest night
Awaits the light of a new day
The breath of dawn.

I suppose then symbolism is a bad word to describe the spiritual depth of the idea of facing the east when engaged in the sacrifice of the mass. :sunny:
