It would seem at some level that a trip to Burger King and the treadmill would be conflicting activities.
Just a reminder that ordering a treadmill doesn't actually counter the act of eating at BK. And just for the record, I speak from past experience.
Hahaha, irony.
Isn't it interesting how awful the fast food places suddenly become when you are trying to eat correctly!
Exactly. The occasional trip to a fast food place will not generally break your health, but yes, I have definitely noticed that since eating right for the past few months, I haven't been able to eat junk food without really feeling it. It seems the only thing my body will accept now from any of those places is the McDonalds caesar salad, which I eat after work when I stay overnight in one place. So, the maybe two fast food burgers I've had this year, counting this one, will be my last methinks.
For the record, what I ate at BK was the Whopper Jr and half the fries. I left late, was driving 60 miles and was hungry and in a hurry. Sad excuse. I didn't plan well.
And for anyone interested who like me loves Claim Jumper pies, the last piece of that I ate, I actually looked at the box and discovered that each slice has 5 gm of trans fat. So, that's out.
I've started eating Kashi Go Lean cereal and Cascadian Farms honey nut O's; Good stuff! The Kashi has 13 gm protein, 10 (I think) gm fiber and 1 gm fat per 3/4 cup serving. It has a honey taste, too.
ryc's -- The flower photos were all from Carlsbad, north of San Diego. The last shot you asked about was just a general shot from the top of the hill, showing the stripes of color as they have separated them -- then across the freeway and down to the ocean. I always like that scene! The poppy fields are in the other direction, between Lancaster and Gorman -- apparently this year was nothing spectacular, but I've seen it when the fields were a mix of oranges and purples and yellows and whites -- really gorgeous display of our wildflowers.
The missions are fun places, and great for photography! I've been going places where I can practice camera technique with my new DSLR (had a film SLR for a long time before this). An hoping to get to San Diego for the day sometime soon -- there are lots of good places down there!
Kashi waffles are good, too! I think I have a fast-food burger about once a year now, and always regret it!
ahhhh I think the consumption of burger king makes the treadmill all the more necessary! Hope you have been well!
