I need some computer savvy help with Word Office and/or Excel '07
I'm trying to make a timeline, and when I print anything out of Excel, the lines don't print (one of the many reasons I used to use AMI Pro instead of Word.) I've clicked the boxes that say view lines (or is it grids?) and print them, but they still don't come out when I print.
I want lines to be on the paper when I print the thing out.
How do I do that?

Ah, easy fix. So any option that says "View Lines" or "View Grid" will not be talking about the lines your draw. Rather this just refers to the "imaginary" kind of grid system which you're working in (to give you an idea of evenness or whatever, however you use it). However, for a real line, (and you can do this same thing for either Word of Excel) go to the top area where "File" "Edit" and all that mess is at. Now click on Insert, go to Picture, then Autoshapes. Click on that and a box should pop up that has the option for making lines on the left side of it. And enjoy! : )
