What Luck!!
Well....I am one hell of a lucky guy. This must be the luckiest day of my life. I haven't had much good news in my life , but I sure got some today.
Of course it is a double edged sword , nothing TOTALLY good ever happens to me. There has to be a negative in there somewhere.I think if someting TOTALLY good ever happened to me I would simply have a stroke and die from the shock of it.
Now as some of you know, my dad's family came to Canada from England. My grandfather was one of 12 children , he made his way to Canada, worked his way thru university and became a minister.I don't think he ever returned to England , I don't think he ever saw any member of his family again.
My dad and my aunt have gone over and they have met some cousins that no one really knew existed before they took the time to look them up.No one with an english accent ever showed up at our door claiming to be a relative from across the pond.Certainly none have come knocking on the door of the Cave making such a claim.
I got an email today from England informing me that one of my relatives has passed away. Told you there has to be a negative involved. The good news is that after an exhaustive search for any relatives the only one with my surname that they could find is me.
Apparently my unknown relative was VERY wealthy, he left an estate of 48 million dollars and I am entitled to 41% of it. The law firm that found me gets the same amount with the rest going to pay court and search costs.
I did think it rather odd that they didn't turn up my dad in their search, or my brother or my sister, since they all have the same surname as me.I was also saddened to hear that none of my grandfathers 11 brothers and sisters had any family that lived. The email I got told me they had combed England thoroughly looking for potential heirs.
I was also a bit pissed off at the cost of their search fees because i know there is a college, and a town, bearing my family name on the Isle of Wight but according to them I am the only living relative with my last name. I don't think they are too great at searching, since they turned up no one in those places and it took them almost a year to find me.
Since it took them so long I have a limited amount of time to claim my inheritance before Queen Elizabeth gets her greedy hands on it. The way I see it, I need that money more than Liz and Phil do.
So all I have to do is send this law firm one thousand dollars and they will start the ball rolling for me in England and i'll get my 41% of 48 million dollars.
A thousand bucks for 41% of 48 million....you can do the math, but it sure looks like a good deal to me.
Told you it was my lucky day.

Will you be my daddy?
*grin
I'm happy for you.
Dropping by to wish you a merry Easter and a Happy belated solstice and other festive greetings.
Actually, kind of missing out on tradition. Doesn't this warrant the post on how your kid killed the Easter Bunny?
Wow, that is sincerely sorrowfully amazing. Lol. Congratulations.
So, has no one else caught on that this is a big joke? I'll give you 58 million dollars if you send me your bank account numbers and a thousand dollars!
I hope it's not a scam (sadly, you never know these days)--good luck! =)
Yeah dude, just be careful it's not a scam. :( But if it's not, congratulations on your lucky day!
If I were single...
Just kidding. Spend (or save) it well.
congratulations on getting featured!
but even MORE congrats to the fact that you are basically everyone's secret dream COME TRUE.
i genuinely hope it's not a scam; that would be the hugest bummer ever.
It's a scam, sorry to say, but it's a classic scam. Don't send any money anywhere, or you'll never see it again. Do some research and you'll know I'm right.
wow, people are really dumb! it's called sarcasm! I think everyone has gotten one of those emails....really funny post by the way! loved it!
I really hope this is real, but
It could not be, so just maybe get it checked out, because you wouldn't want to lose 1000 dollars either, I know I wouldn't, but I really really really hope it's not a scam.
But better safe than sorry ae:)
xxx
will this scam meme never die?
Bricker59, you must be dying with laughter!
Get a lawyer and get it in writing before you transfer any funds.
That sounds just a teeny bit far fetched. There are scams like that, you know.. but if it really is true then i'm glad for you. Though I advise you to seriously do some background checks on these people. Why do you need to send them $1000.. wouldn't they be able to i don't know, take that $1000 from the money that your relative left you? And it's kind of sketchy that they found you and not your father, and all they have to go by is a surname? =/
hey, send me the $1,000.00 and i'll forward it to the attorneys for you.
oh and when hell does freeze over, i mean when you do get your inheritence, i have some land to sell you in south florida!
call me.
He's BLATANTLY joking...
But it's a good one. xD; Love your writing style!
OMG! No way! You, too?! I had some luck, too, and all I had to do was send some people in Cameroon $400 for them to ship their Yorkshire terrier puppy (who can't take the African heat) to me, and then she's MINE! Can you believe it?! Wow. We sure did hit the Internet (definitely NOT a scam!!!) jackpot!!!
lol.
hahaha...oh...satire.
