Glorifying Golf.
I have never played golf in Georgia so I thought I would turn on the Masters Tournament this week and get a look at a Georgian golf course.
The announcers were making a big deal of the fact that Ian Poulter got a hole in one. They went on and on about it like it was a miracle or something.
Now Ian Poulter is a professional golfer, isn't he supposed to sink the ball in the fewest shots possible???
It doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. I have been golfing many times, and I have had many holes in one.
I didn't have a large selection of clubs like these pampered "pros" have. Every time I have played golf I carried my clubs myself, I didn't need someone to do it for me. I was also very interested in the differences between the golf courses I played here in Canada and those in Georgia.
Frankly I think ours are much tougher. The course they played at Augusta looked like a walk in the park.
So Ian Poulter got a hole in one. Big deal !!
He didn't have ANY dinosaurs, clowns, or windmills to contend with like I did.
I just don't see what the big deal is.

I can quote almost all of Caddy Shack, and nothing fit this post quite right.

This just makes no sense Bricker. You are the Show! Whether you play this way or that way or not.
I just came in to poke you with a stick and see if you moved...
