>>> Life moves on

Racing

I have a 5K race sunday im looking forward too.   2 years ago this was first race I ever ran in my life.   I probably wasnt ready but ran it anyways.   This will be first time I get to run it again.  Of course every time I plan to go all out and shoot for a really great time something goes wrong.   Not 3 Stooges goes wrong, I dont get poked in eye or run into something,  but I havent ruled out the possiblity.  Its just I dont have a good day, or stomach gets upset or just cannt get going.   So to get ready im taking a rest day.  Actually I was due for one, since I ran last 3 days.  But I should of done something.  I mean it was nice out.  Well plan to run something to morrow then maybe thursday.   Rest on Friday and race saturday.  Thats the plan.  Hope to have race day morning planned out so nothing will go wrong.  Ya would think after all the races I have done I would have this down by now??

Rehired

The wife cooked so Im keeping her for another week or 2.

I really need to start doing more stuff so I can post something.  Maybe I can make up some stuff.   Have to think up something real juicy.

Its definitely hard to take time to rest, but I definitely think its necessary.  I know that I feel so badly when I don't get out and run and the weather is beautiful, but your body does need rest and time to recooperate before you race.

Good luck and keep us posted of how it goes.
