Three and a half hours from where I am is the closest concert I can find to see this man...

One of my goals was to see him live this summer (before I go away).
There is a concert almost as close in Ohio as well,
but we all know how I have a deep seeded fear of Ohio
and will avoid that section of the US at any cost, so Michigan it is.

I wonder if anyone will want to actually go with me?

Update... The Rochester, New York show is actually 40 miles closer than Grand Rapids.
Maybe I'll do both!!!

Just woke up and logged onto xanga, of course. :)

Yes, 3 and 1/2 hours is nothing! Everytime I've seen him I've had to travel except for the last show in April when he came here to Arizona.

Oh, how flippin cool. I've been watching for those new stadium shows too but not a single, solitary one is near me. I may have to travel again. Either that or pretend I don't know he's on tour and not catch a show this time. Though I really want to because I think he'll play some stuff off his new album coming August 29th.

I just saw your update too. Do both. You'll never regret it.

OH MY GOD... !!!!!!
Do it.... Just do it... Drive for as long as you have to... I'd give ANYTHING to see The Man... and I'm getting sooooooo much feedback about Ohio, I'm starting to fear it too
