So, my planned vacation this month is off due to the fact that everyone I work with seems to forget that I work there and everyone booked my weekend off as their own, leaving me to suffer... again. This is making my planned escape/departure/shove-it-up-your-ass moment at the end of summer easier and easier to do.
I still want to go somewhere this summer. Somewhere new. I was considering a Xanga inspired roadtrip, but I can't get more than four days off in a row right now, so I thought about a trip to somewhere random. Maybe I'll meet someone from on here finally. My only problem... I've got enough to fly somewhere, but not really enough for hotels. So, it's either a roadtrip within a certain distance from here, or a flight somewhere where I have a place to stay.
Anyone want a houseguest for a few days in August? I make a killer French Toast breakfast and I fit on any couch comfortably (even being 6'4'').
I have a few places I would go in a second, but it's all about the McDonald's baby (Canadian version of the Benjamins).
I think I just want to see something outside of Ontario for once...
