This past weekend was a busy one for travelling about.  Night markets, mountain treks, figuring out the transit system around here, the latest James Bond movie with Chinese subtitles, and lot of pictures.  Of course, Xanga still hates me here, so I could only get a few posted here this time.

These are all from a trip up the small mountain that my apartment is at the base of.  There is a path up the mountain just over from my lane.  I have to go up the road, and through a Buddhist Temple to get to the main path.  There are many small temples and alters along the way where people stop to pray.  I'll post pics of those when I can get them uploaded.

I have a lot more, but like I said, I have problems with Xanga over here.  I'll try to put more on here tomorrow after I teach my kindergarden kids.  I love how excited they are to see me every day... so much better than my Grade 5 class.  There's a good chance I'm going to have to slap the attitude off a bunch of their faces this week.  I don't know if these kids have ever had to write lines before, but it's coming.  The worst thing for them is what they are going to have to write will be translated into Chinese and their parents are going to have to sign it before they hand it back in to me.  I'm sure they're going to smarten up pretty fast after this one...

Where's the food?!?! And I learned something new; I didn't know Taiwan had the tallest building in the world, and I watch a lot of Discovery.
