Sorry I haven't been around much this weekend but, I am sick!!  I caught this cold from Tim, he is better but I am not & he had 2 days on me so I figure by Tuesday, I should be back to normal.  Yesterday, I at least watered the backyard, fed the fish, pulled some weeds.  Today, I did nothing but lay on the couch, sneeze repeatedly, coughed my fool head off, & wiped the tears pouring out of my eyes!!  I can not remember being this sick with a cold in a looong time!!  But, Tim was a dear...felt really responsible for my misery (I warned him at the time...but would he listen??)  He washed my car for me so I will cut him some slack (not!!)

So, since I am feeling so poorly...I will keep this to a minimum.  Not much to blog about.  Tim goes back to work tomorrow...if it weren't for the fact that Ryan has Monday & Tuesday off, I would be all by my lonesome for the 1st time in 2 weeks.  Can I wait for Wednesday??

I had been going through some old photos to scan to try & share with ya'll.  I am having difficulties, though.  I scan & they look perfect, then I try to put them on Xanga, & they turn huge!!  Don't know what I am doing wrong but I have asked for some technical assistance from AbbyNormal, &  we'll see if we can't work it out.  I did send a private e-mail to BigSis with pictures of her from her Junior & Senior year!!  She got a kick out of it (at least that is what she said).  I would post it but, she is my great friend & I will get her permission first.  Suffice to say, though, she is lovely!!

So, since I am reminiscing about her, I will tell you a story.  1st, Lynda was my first friend when I moved to the Birchwood Addition in Little Rock.  We rode the same bus although Lynda lived in a much nicer neighborhood.  My Mother & I moved to Little Rock, just the two of us, after she tried for a reconciliation with my Dad.  We had moved from California to Delaware, where my Dad was.  We stayed exactly 2 months, long enough to move in to a beautiful Condo.  I had the greatest room, with my own bathroom, it was awesome.  I also started my sophomore year there...at Paul Revere High School.  Anyway, my Dad refused to remarry my Mother(she mistakenly believed their divorce was final), & she would not stay unless he did...so, we went to Arkansas.  Now, my Mother was born & raised in a little town in Northern Arkansas, Clover Bend.  That is where my Grandmother lived, on the family farm with 188 acres that she farmed in Cotton, Soy Beans & Fescue.  She also raised Black Angus cattle, but only a few head.  My Grandmother was an amazing woman!! 

I will add more to this later...right now I need to go lay down...my head is throbbing!!  Sorry!!
