Happy Friday to everyone!!  I am not doing much today...laundry, bathrooms & dusting/vacuuming!!  I don't want to have anything to do over the weekend & you never know when friends or family might drop by.

Been talking at length with my friend Veronica...I met her while I was an Asst. Librarian & she was the Bilingual Instructional Aide...they didn't have a place for her so she would just stay in the Media Center & her kids would come to her.  It was a great set-up, the Media Center was being utilized, the kids told all their friends so it built traffic, plus Veronica & I became good friends. (that last part was the most important!!)

She is one of those people that comes in to your heart & stays.  She grew up in San Diego, so she is normal!!  I find so many abnormal people around here!!  And, she is so much fun!!  Plus, she works like a dog!!  We have, since day one, gotten along so well....that, when she took the job at the District Office...I applied for a different position because I couldn't stand working with the Librarian if Veronica wasn't going to be there anymore.  Of course, we all know what happened after that!!

But, she is now a VP's secretary at a different school district...she has been there for almost 10 months....is having some trouble with her co-workers...all we can come up with is the fact that she is good at her job, pretty, & a hit with students, parents & faculty...which means they must all feel threatened.

Why is it that if you are hard working, have a pleasant personality & are willing to help anyone....why do other's find that threatening??  And, what kind of threat is that, actually??  I have never understood office politics, which means I don't play very well.  All I want to do is my job!!  I don't care if you are boinking the boss or he is boinking someone in the office....I don't care!!  All I care about is doing MY job, doing it well, & because I do it well, if I am able to & you need help, I don't mind helping.  And, if I know an answer to a problem & someone has that problem, I don't mind expressing what needs to be done in order to correct the problem, whether it be a student, parent, faculty...in other words, ANYONE!!  What is wrong with that??  Why would that be WRONG??

Life can be so frustrating...& that crap someone told you about Life being fair??  It's a lie...Life is NOT fair!!  Bad things happen to good people!!  Great things happen to BAD PEOPLE all the time!!  Sometimes, there is absolutely NO JUSTICE!!  So, what do you do when it seems this happens to you all the time??  Do you give up??  WHAT DO YOU DO??

Oh, & what do you do with magazines that you have already read from cover to cover & don't want to keep but, don't want to just throw away??

Yeah, I know....I am scattered today.  Maybe it's the full moon??  Maybe it's this thing that was in the sky last night

Ok, so something happened & the God's decided to fulfill my request...guess they got tired of hearing me complain!! But, that was what we saw in the sky...the upper left was after it exploded, but you can kinda tell it was the rocket head (other than the fact that is was higher in the sky, etc....not that I understand it or anything....hey look, I never said I was a rocket scientist!!)
