  • I'm wolfing down an apple before I go into the animal room, because after I get out from there, I am not going to want to put my hands anywhere near my face.  The concept of eating when they smell that bad is impossible.

Aside from that I feel like I'm in the eye of a storm.  One that I was dropped in the middle of, not pushed through the wall.  I am detached from the swirling going on.  On the short list: vacation, daughter's implant that failed, sewing, writing, critiquing, volunteering, volunteer training, a broken car, death of a family member (not a terribly close one, but still), maintenance of marshall law for the boy, coordinating boy's projects to get done before vacation.  I would safely say that all of these have an Apr 30 deadline, twenty two days.  I'm not really stressed about it.  I don't rush around.  I don't feel frantic in my actions.  I just wander through it all doing what I do.  For once, and I'm aware enough to realize that this won't be the norm, I'm not so far into the future or past that the present gets mucked up.  I'm guessing this is what Psalm 46:10 is supposed to feel like in our lives...

Be still, and know that I am God.

  • I'm always a bit stunned at how many lovely lines there are in the bible. Though it is a pretty big book. I guess it all comes down to odds...

  • That's a good verse -- I use it a lot.  I lost track of it about 10:00 this morning, though.

Good luck with handling all those kite lines . . .

  • I confused myself with Jesus the other day even though I'm not Christian

    +gasp+ +horror+

    I know

  • @Tom - I've always like Bono's view on it, Christianity isn't the problem, the Christian's are.  If people were to act Christ-like instead of Christian, the world would be a much better place.  So it's OK by my if you have confused yourself with Jesus-- just this once!

@underused - I've just started reading it.  Kind of shameful really.  I've read everything and anything but that so far in my life.

@grievous_angel - Just the usual.  I'll have your critique back soon.
