i wish i could look nice (but most unfortunately non-pitch-matching) choir students straight in the eyes and tell them not to sing. because, honestly, what am i supposed to do with the other 35 pitch matchers who are bored to tears and frustrated at these non-singers? feel very guilty and non-teacherly.

Yeah. Tell not to sing. The truth hurts but just think of the others

Do they know they can't sing? Why are they in choir? And if they  don't, then I agree, who would be better than you, Tamara.

And if you are confused about whatever, then go to Ben's blog. Then you won't question my doings anymore.

You should load them up in the back of your pick-up and drop them off about 10 miles outside of town. They'll learn to live in the wilderness. Wilson already knows how.

I don't want to live in the wilderness just because I can't keep pitch

Maybe you could just buy the non-singers kazoos (sp?)...and then I'll come and visit because I've always wanted to see a bonified "kazoo choir", or excuse me, rather, a choir with kazoo accompaniment...

*giggles to self*

loading 'em into the back of my Honda just doesn't have the same effect: and Allen, you'd be an awesome mountain man! the ultimate test of self-reliance.

Judging by Seven brides for seven brothers, mountain man can keep pitch pretty well. I think the real problem is with the pitcher.
