Currently Watching Millions see related

So this is what happens when you take a three hour nap in the middle of the afternoon -- you're up at 12:30 watching television and blogging. Hmm. I should at least do a load of laundry -- that would be productive (not that blogging's NOT productive, but you know what I mean...).

I just finished watching the movie Millions. Kind of a strange little film, but I'd classify it as pretty good . Alex Etel, who plays Damian, the little boy given to talking with an eclectic group of saints, turns in an incredibly endearing performance. England is on the verge of transferring to the euro when a bag of money quite literally falls out of the sky onto Damian's cardboard box fort. Believing the money to be a gift from God, the film follow's Damian's attempts to deal with his unexpected windfall.

My family is supposed to return from their road trip tomorrow -- I mean today since it is Sunday now. At least I assume so since no one called today (I mean yesterday!!) to tell me otherwise. Hopefully the leave-taking won't be too difficult -- but with things the way they are it's never exactly easy at any rate.

My head feels five pounds lighter since I got my hair cut this morning. YAY! And then I had an 11:00 appointment to get my oil changed, I got their 10 minutes early, and it STILL took an hour to get my car back. Oh well, at least that's taken care of for another 5,000 miles. Next car expense should be new tires, I expect. Oh joy.
