Yay for haircuts! Always an adventure! I actually just got my hair colored in a salon for the first time last week. My sister and I always do it with a bottle of dye from Walgreens, and it always turns out great because people always ask me where I get my hair done. But it's starting to get complicated because I had grown out my natural color and was highlighting it, but then had to dye the whole thing after Grace accidentally skunk-striped me, and then my roots started growing in, and I wanted to touch up my highlights, but I didn't want to lose my natural color again. So when I went for a haircut, my stylist offered to put some more of my natural color in and spruce up my highlights. It was way more expensive than DIY, but definitely worth it. At least until my natural and very hard to match haircolor is grown in.
