My grandmother ended up passing away late Tuesday night. So tomorrow I'm flying up to IL with my Dad and brother, there'll be a small service Friday, and then we're flying back Sunday afternoon. As tough as this type of situation always is and will be, especially for my Mom and aunt, it is a blessing since my grandmother is now out of pain. The last six months have been something of a nightmare - but I was thinking this afternoon that in her eighty-nine and a half years she really live life for the most part on her own terms, and all of it (except for the last six months) was for the most part spent in her home. So that is a blessing in itself. Anyway, if you could keep the family in your prayers through this weekend I would so appreciate it. Thank you!
