Church door in Stow on the Wold                                            Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy

Here's another one of those interesting doors.  This was the side door to the church building in Stow on the Wold.  Kind of short (for a door anyway) and kind of narrow too.  A fat person would have a big problem getting in and out of that door.  Oh, that's my hubby standing at the door.  Notice that he's standing on the pavement and not on the door step.  He'd have to duck to get in that door.

School of Music Door at Oxford                                            Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy

Here's hubby again pointing to the School of Music door at Oxford.  He actually asked me to take this picture, since he has a couple music degrees in his quiver.  I was going to take a picture of the door anyway, because it looked interesting.  But this way it's not just a picture of a door; it's more fun this way.

I feel my own end in sight because of constant pain. These falicity doors are as you can expect meaningless, the School Of Philosophy is a Gents toilet for example! Of course the "schools" does exist, and the University has a brilliant music library and teaching centre.

Under the Radcliffe Camera, I once found a missing Chagil, this painting was given to the university by a relation of the painter then it went missing. When I was an undergrad, to earn a bit of money in long vacation I got a job surveying the Boddy library, and underneath the Camera (your photo prev blog) I found the painting, got myself a mention in The Times!

Isn't it funny how having a person just standing, as in your first photo, can add so much to it? Not posing so much as just standing. Very nice.

I love to take pictures of doorways, too -- and those are both great ones. :goodjob:

Your hubby is lucky I wasn't holding the camera. I would of only allowed him in the one picture, then I would of asked him to step aside for the other.
