This is for you, Sue.

JanesBackYard57

Yesterday Alice and I went to our monthly Garden Club meeting. For our program we toured one of our member's yard. She has probably the prettiest fish pond I've ever seen in someone's backyard. It looks pretty natural the way it's tucked up in the corner with very tall plants around the back side of it. It has a little waterfall that trickles into the pond and recirculates. Although I'd really love to have a pond like this, I don't have the type yard to accomodate one. My yard is open and sunny and light, where as you need a sort of shady secluded hidden garden sort of yard to pull off one of these.

I promised Sue that I'd post a picture of Jane's pond here on Xanga . . . so here you go, Sue.

I think it is the prettiest pond in a private garden I've ever seen, too.
Nice shot, too.
