Friday - I had my 6 week, post surgery check up. My insides have healed up nicely and I am now released to regular life.  My energy is nearing 100% and I feel soooooooo much better.  Thanks for your encouraging words, prayers, and support during this whole ordeal!

Sunday - Last weekend I suggested that we have a pre-home coming prep day.  It always is a flurry of nerves and attitudes right before the dance because the girls have no clue what they really want out of the day - how they want their hair and make up to look.  So, yesterday we played.  5 girls and me.  It was great and I think they feel so much better for having done it... and hopefully it took the stress out of getting ready before the dance (in 2 weeks) - here's hopin'! ;)









Today - I took my boy to the Dr this morning and found out not only does he have pink eye (eewwwwww), but he also has an ear infection (the 2nd in his lifetime).  He told me about a month ago his ear wasn't feeling well, then dropped it and hasn't said one word about it since.   Right after the appt he told me that his ear has been hurting ever since, but he didn't want to be a bother, so he didn't bring it up again. People, I don't mess w/ ear issues... I had my eardrum rupture way back in the day, I know the pain w/ ear issues.  UGH!   I feel like I should be nominated for the crappiest mother of the year award.  UGH!  UGH!  UGH!

I put 7 new items in the shop last night.

And with that, I am off to fold some laundry.  Woo Hoo....wasn't being 'released to life' suppose to be more fun than this? ~G

I'm nervous and excited, and (right now, at 12:30 AM) I'm tired from all the work its been to set my Etsy store up (yeah Sonya, I know... I procrastinated like I pack my bags :p) but its done!  The doors are open!

There are TONS more things to add to the site... none of the bags are up yet, but ya know, its nearly 1 AM and I am calling it a night.
