  • Happy New Year!

May Your New Year be filled with new opportunites to experience spiritual growth, and may you be filled with such wonder at what the Lord has done for us!!!!

    Questions for this post!

    1. What are your goals for the new year?

    2. What are some highlights from the last year that you would like to share about what the Lord has shown you?

A Little bit of today's activities!

Went to the chiropractor today... then went to work.. or thought I was going to work when I got there the office was closed and there was no one there, when I called one of the ladies that I work with she said some of the people stayed home to watch the funeral for President Ford today. What a great service (what I heard of it on the redio as I was not at home to watch it). So since I did not go to work today I came home and made 3 batches of bread.... that is 5-6 loaves per batch of bread.... except that one of the batches I thought I was using whole wheat flour but...... I really had milled up OAT Flour so..... as I am sure you can guess... we have 4 loaves of bread that is now oat bread... and it really does not taste very good we are trying to think of something that we can do with it so we don't have to throw it out!!! Anyway then this evening I answered some emails and then played a game of blitz with Marvelanne which I won by 1 point ! and now I am posting while I am waiting to get in the bathroom so that I can go to bed as I do have to work tomorrow.

So I will leave you all with some thoughts and scripture, oh yeah and answers to the questions above for me.

1.How well do we understand what it means to Glorify God... I am doing a wonderful study on what it means to Gloify God and I am learning so much... it is very exciting, convicting and eye opening. So far one of the first things that I have learned is that 1.We glorify God when we make it our aim and purpose to do so. and 2.(today's lesson) We Glorify God by a humble and honest confessions of our sins. How very true this is. I will post more as I get deeper into the study.

Here are some verses to ponder.

2Ch 7:14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

Blessings to each and every one of you, and thanks for stopping to look at my site. God Bless

I get to go to my Chiropractor today...in about 30 minutes to be exact. I'll have to come back and answer the questions later. Gotta run. Beautiful background...the light blue print is sort of hard to read against the viola though...I'm guessing thats a viola since that's what you play. See Ya!

Ok, the questions, I guess number 1. I would  say I have several standing goals I strive for. That would be of course to draw closer to God thru my faith and relationship with Christ. Also Something a goal I guess you could call it, is to just try to do things for people to make them happy...bring a smile to their face, I love to do that. I thinking about it I guess a goal I'd like to stive for specifically on a personal level, have a stronger relationship with my wife. Then I would say get lots of unfinished projects and chores finished at home.

    2. I don't know if I can pinpoint anything specific...many things in general. Learning patience, trust, caring about the people that God put's in my path to meet that for some particular reason chose for me to get to know better   Well that's about all I can muster up right now. I'm sure there's more, but I need to get busy. TTYL
