  • Day Of Mothers

So today was Mother's Day. What did my mom want for this day?
A pressure washer or warsher, that's how she pronounces it. (She's form Illinois, the "S" is silent people). She also pronounce Horse; Harse and Fork; Fark.  Back to the point. She said she wanted a pressure warsher (that's how I am spelling it in this post) and all said was "wtf for". But we got her the pressure warsher, and she decided she is going to wash the car and the windows of the house on mother's day. All i said to this was "WTF!"
Obviously, that was just wishful thinking, and she did not do these things today.  But I did discover that my mom can not sit still, and keep her self out of things. She HAD to be involved in the cooking. It got the the point, where I finally said; "Look, your making me mad, don't make me cut you." This did not deter her. She just kept on getting involved (and of course, I am not going to cut her! She's my mom!) Any way the day went by, and we just hung out and ate. It was a good day.
I can tell my mom is sad about Mother's Day, because her mom died a year ago. My mom never properly mourned over this. And today, I walked in on her holding this bear that was my Grandmothers and crying, I felt so bad for her, but I didn't know what to do, so i just slipped out.
I know. Fuck me for being a stupid guy, and not knowing what to do when someone cries. AND just so you know, I usually know what to do when people cry, but when it's someone you never see cry ( out of sorrow), because I have seen my mom cry out of frustration, but never out of sadness you don't know what to do, because it stuns you.
So I hope my mom had a good Mother's Day, but I don't think she did. I also hope she is okay.

On a side note. There is this lady in my neighbor hood, who gives massages to people, and her business is called "Touched By Amy" Hahaha. I bet she gives happy endings with her massages. . . (I hope some one gets that)

    LOL.. Warsher.. that's cute.

That's too bad about your Grandmother. I know that Mother's day is always hard for my mom too, not having her mom around anymore.
