Laugh! I was just asked how come I could watch movies with no TV set (see previous post). Good question!

Back in video days, I had a small monitor with a video slot in the side. Now I do have an actual TV, since I decided to watch movies at home, but it's in its own room, not the living room, and never used except for movie rentals. Over the years it has gotten easier and easier not to think of watching TV, and now when I do see it (at hotels, at friends' homes) my main reaction is irritation. I estimate I've saved over 21,000 hours of my life since I stopped watching TV, and I've certainly done some cool stuff with that time!

Our TV is in the living room, due to space issues, and I *hate* it there. It is so hard to avoid it becoming the focus of the room. I'm trying to convince the man that we should pitch our cable service (hate hate HATE Rogers Cable!!.

We do watch a lot of TV here. I get so tired of the sound of it. It really upsets the system after awhile. There are often several going at a time. Yuc. I am at least trying to convince the hubby to let me take the on out of our bed room .
