Hi... I was thinking today about those tips for mature students. This has come up for me a few times, and was one of the reasons I blew my math quiz on Friday. Certainly not the only reason, but it was a factor, and it was a factor in my blowing a math question on the homework I was just working on.

#1 Realize your eyes are no longer young. Double check things like complicated polynomials after you write them down but before you dive into them.

#2 Get your vision checked before it gets too bad. Once a year is not too often. If you're over 40 and you're not wearing glasses, you will soon, just take it as a fact of life.
