Well I know theres a few of you that have been askin me to "hurry the hell up and get some of my art work scanned in here"...I wont mention any names (Kindred_spirit). Ok well anyways...with as shitty as my day went yesterday, I did manage to get some scanned in. Dont expect Van Gogh, or Piccasso...lol

This one was originally 11 1/2 X 17...so it did get cut off some while scanning. Its supposed to say SpringPriceThaw. Its on a white paper and so some of the white at the top o the letters is hard to see. We had to use only 1 color which was blue. The objective was to make it look cold. Now when I say it was 1 color...it didnt have to be only 1 gradation...hence the variations of blue.

This was our ring assignment...this was a full color assignment. It was done with ink and wash (gouache) its purpose is for a jewelry ad.

this one right here was the pain in the ass that had me up the other night. This is a b/w illustration for a newspaper article. The article dealt with the fact that blue-collar workers are gaining more respect due to the nature of their jobs, and are seen more as heroes. The article was directly related to the miners that had been stuck underground. We also had to tie it in somehow to 9/11 and America.
