I have always wanted to get married. Im not talking youre all out princess wedding(although it would be nice)but it could be a simple ceremony...say in Vegas...as long as I was in Love with the other person it didnt matter. I wanted to have another kid before I turned 32. My daughter(age 8 soon to be 9)is constantly askin me when she will get a brother cuz she doesnt want a sister(hazards of being around her 2 female cousins...lol). I feel bad for my daughter...I never intended on her being an only child,it must really suck. I wonder, with all thats happened lately,if these things will happen...or even if I want it to happen anymore. I still want to get married and have another kid but Im more scared now then ever about what will happen in our future and if I even want to subject another innocent child to it all. I guess only time will tell.
A MOTHER'S PAIN
What is known of a Mother's pain, when her child's zest for life starts to wane?
How does she answer questions just right, where does she look for perfect insight?
Should she give comfort when none is sought, to keep this life from becoming naught?
Why is her child faced with this, when she should be living a life of bliss?
How can a Mother's love not be enough, to encase her child when the going is rough?
If hugs and kisses can no longer make something better, how do you stop tears from making cheeks wetter?
What will make this child want to live just one more day, when she says "I don't know why I was born anyway"?
Is there some way to make her heart light, to prove her life can, once again, be bright?
These answers must come from somewhere above, for they are out of the reach of a Mother's love.
God gave Mothers common sense and the power to ease most pain, He also gave her the wisdom to know when she should refrain.
Mother's pray to God each and every day, to seek His guidance every step of the way.
When her heart is heavy, not knowing what to do, she knows her Fathers' love will come shining through.
He may not give the answer she was hoping to receive, but she knows He cares, in her God she does believe.
As her loving Father, sometime His answer's no, He gives her no solution, for her problem on earth below.
Yet she knows in Heaven, the answer she will surely gain, as she escapes the bonds of earth and enters Heaven's domain.
