see relatedWelp, I just got a call from Lifeline... I didn't get the job. I guess they filled all of their positions. He said he was going to give my app to the other Lifeline houses, and that I am still eligible for hire, so I guess that's good. I still want to know the exact reason I didn't get the job. I can't help but think that maybe I just wasn't good enough.
So, I basically don't know what I am going to do. I hate job-hunting, and the market around here sucks. I pretty much had all of my eggs in one basket with the Lifeline job. Lesson learned I guess.
Well, I am going to do peruse the classifieds. Wish me luck.

I am all moved in to my new house. It's pretty cool. It may become less cool next month when all of the bills start coming in. I am more than likely going to be offered a job at Lifeline within the next couple of days. I went in today for a short second interview with the head honcho, because he needed a copy of my drivers license. He made it sound like I had the job. Apparently, one of the background checks they had to do on me came up with a bunch of guys named David Hill that are registered sex offenders. He told me that they don't go by ssn or even middle names, so it's really hard to find people. Lol.
But yeah, that's about all. We hit up the discount grocery today. I got some pork rinds in Mexican packaging for 10 cents a bag. I love pork rinds.
Ok bye.

As of today, I have a killer fu-man-chu. I love it. It's the kind of mustache people grow in contests. As a joke. No jokes here, my friend.

see relatedI am moving back to Indiana in few weeks. [cheer] I don't have an exact date yet, but it will be sometime in March. I am going to be living with my friend Josh in a 2-bedroom house in Winona Lake. I am SUPER excited. I have an interview lined up when I get to IN with an organization called Lifeline, which is a group home for at-risk teens. This is the job I have wanted for years. I feel that my personal experiences of being an at-risk teen give me some good perspective into what some of these kids are going through. Who knows, maybe all of that horrible crap I went through when I was younger will turn around and do some good in someone else's life. A few of my friends work at Lifeline too, including Josh, who is actually on the directorial staff. I have to be in a different program since we are going to be living together. Anyway, I am really excited and thankful for the opportunity to get an interview at this place. Maybe I will find that it is what I was meant to do. It would be nice to have some direction in my life, haha.
As of now I am just waiting on the final date when I can move. I am beginning to do a triage with some of my stuff. I can only take what I can fit into my tiny little car! Ahh! It will basically end up being my computer and my clothes. Someone told me about Greyhound shipping and that it is gloriously cheap. I may look into it. Then again, I may not. It might be nice to get rid of some of this stuff I have and start over. I basically only want to keep my computer, my clothes, my guns, and some books. Of course there are other random things, but I think that's about it. I am pretty much banking on the fact that Josh said he had a mattress I can use. *crosses fingers*
But yeah, that's pretty much all that is going on. I think I am going to a bar with a girl I met up here next week. She has been offering to show me around town for a while, and I decided to take her up on it. I think it's funny that I finally do something social right before I get ready to move, after 9 months of nothing but working all day and coming home and staying there. Haha, I am such a loser.
I basically forgot about Xanga. I built a new computer, and I forgot to put it in my bookmarks, so I guess I just forgot to check it altogether. Haha, out of sight out of mind I guess.
Anyway, there is not much else. Have a good day! Leave me some comments so I know ppl still check this thing.

So it has been almost 2 years since I have been on a date, let alone have a girlfriend. I think it's high time that changed. Any takers? You don't count, Matt Weideman.
