| | Why Is The Window Dirty, Natasha? Finally, the Strangers With Candy movie trailer is available on You Tube. [This tip from both SWC Superfan Tony and SWC Superfan Katie] On a related note, Amy's book cover is on Amazon, which I only just realized now also. I need to read Katie's Livejournal and Tony's news page more often. (Sorry, kids!)
Shortly after I arrived in Nashville, we passed a church that had its roof ripped off by a tornado. [Click here for news photo taken shortly after tornado]
They had strung a banner over the gaping hole in the wall of the church that said, "God is still great!" Ha! What idiots! If there is, in fact, an invisible being who lives up in the sky and picks out your clothes, how could he possibly have sent a clearer message to you that he totally hates you?!?! (Either that, or he hates aluminum siding.) Poor Southerners are hilaarious!
James St. James is totally right - I hadn't heard Natasha Bedingfield's horrible song "Unwritten" until I got to Nashville, at which point it I heard it 16 times during the three hours I was being driven around in a van. Either you feel the rain on your face, or the sun illuminates the words on the page, but not both, Natasha - NOT BOTH! And why is the window dirty if it's raining? Are you depressed and laying on the couch, unable to clean or do anything but watch TV, like that lady in the depressionhurts.com commercial? Because I hate her, too.
I mean, I'm sure it seemed "poetic" when you wrote it, but it's just not working for me.
Oh, and you can't sing, either - you sound like Britney Spears after a eating a handful of cat litter.
That is all. |
