| I love you, Kylee
A day at the beach with my daughter Kylee.
| A new Bible study.Sunday at Lawrence we had a visitor, Valeria (Vuh-larry-uh) from Russia. Tonight we had our first Bible study with her. Kylee and myself are on one side of the table.....
...and on the other side of the table, Kimber and Valeria.
Valeria has such a refreshing attitude in her desire to know the Lord and His word! She has been a part of a Baptist congregation in Russia these past five years. She has obviously come a long way from her cultural (Tuva) roots in Shamanism! We look forward to getting to know her better and encouraging each other toward a better and better understanding of God's will. Valeria is an international exchange student getting her Masters in linguistics at K.U. She feels "very blessed" for having been awarded this scholarship. She is a linguist so you can imagine how much that added to our study tonight! She has been an English teacher in Russia. This is where her family must now wait for at least one semester before they can come and join her. This is a difficult thing for her to endure, she misses her two sons very much! Thank you, Kimber, for being present and for what you present! Thank you, Kylee also! Thank you all for dropping by to read this post. Please keep this Bible study and the other work at Lawrence in your prayers!

I "nose" who this is!
Evangelist conference 7/8/08 Excelsior Springs meeting house. Doug Twaddell and Steve Wright, Charles Ross and Roger Wanassen, solve monumental problems while Louis Garbi listens with great interest.
| Lawrence
This is the sign right by the front door at Lawrence church of Christ. (see the tiny grey square in pic below) One of the elders, Tom Griffin, is also a funeral director, so there are side benefits you might not have thought about. Nicely engraved signs, or instance.
My wife and daughter have been helping me "layout" a card for the church at Lawrence. I thought I'd share the photos I took last week for the purpose. Hope everyone's having a terrific week at the camp out. We are looking forward to hosting Roger, who is flying in this week and will be with us for the Kansas leg, Ottawa, Beloit and at our home July 4th.
| Pilfered pictures from the picture lady and him what owns the camera. "Hi" says the picture lady.
Harriet Linscott (Grandmother of the bride) and Kimber. That's me in the background, smiling 'bout that gal o' mine.
Here is the latest "buzz" about my terrific son Emery.

A poor waif wandering the streets of Topeka, Kansas wondering; "When will I ever see my lunch?"
FINALLY, the food arrives. This photo, and the previous two, were taken by world renowned photographer and Mustang aerialist, Monsier DuBois A.K.A. "P51 Woody " last Monday.
