The cabinets are being installed and the walls got painted. I wasn't sure about the color but my contractor persuaded me that since the floor tile will be sage green that I shouldn't go peachy as I first thought but go with something that went with the cabinets. The countertop will be white quartz with some speckles. I wanted the tile put in first but it hasn't arrived so, again, we were persuaded to put the cabinets in first with just wonder board underneath--as it doesn't really matter what's hidden under them. Here's the sink side. We'll have to buy a sink this weekend. We also have to buy light fixtures and a microwave. We're not buying a new fridge or stove, not when a roof is going to cost us $12,400.
