Mini Xanga Survey Analysis - Hair and Number of relationships
There seems to be a direct correlation between hair changes and the amount of relationships that a girl has been in. More relationships = more break ups = more times that the girl wants to start anew = new hair cut! Also a side note, I also pose the question - if a girl changes her hair a lot, does it mean she has commitment issues because she cannot commit to a hairstyle?

I mean, the girls I know who have these long standing relationships have the same hair style FOREVER and then all of the sudden when they break up, it's like Home Extreme Makeover on their entire lifestyle or something. It's crazy!

It may seem quite obvious, but it's something I don't think about every day.

I went through a time in my life where I was dying my hair and cutting it differently every other month. I was trying to reinvent myself, and once I got over that, I went back to the same haircut I had since grade 8. I think girls who change their hair constantly are insecure about themselves, and as a result they have more difficulty commiting. But I don't know much about the relationship thing...

Just because a girl changes her hair style a lot doesn't meanshe has commiment issues it just might mean she isn't happy with the way she looks so it doesn't always mean commiment isues but maybeself-confidence issues or no issues at all.....

i dont agree with this statement :

More relationships = more break ups = more times that the girl wants to start anew = new hair cut!

i was thinking more along the lines of

if a girl changes her hair a lot, does it mean she has commitment issues because she cannot commit to a hairstyle?

To say that there is a direct correlation is obtuse being that there are no statistics involved to prove this hypothesis and also the sample of data may not be a reflection of the general population. .. but a representation of xangans who wish to comment about their hair style/commitment issues ...

After I read your blog, yes it makes sense.....more relationships, more break-ups, more  haircuts.  I never thought this, but I looked back on my "dating life" so far.  This is true, maybe not for everyone.....but some I bet.

yeah, if your girl changes her hair after a fight or when she's been acting weird, watch out. Thats a huge "You about to get your butt dumped" sign. Girl's are pretty obvious in general once you learn how they work. They aren't the mystery everyone claims they are.

    Weird...hadn't thought about it. lol.

Ha ha ha ha....I love it...I'm totally guilty.  Cut my hair after my first long relationship, about 10 inches off!  After my next breakup my hair got blonde highlights.  And on and on and on...I know it too, I'm definitely guilty of the Extreme Home Makeover on myself.

It makes a lot of sense though, a hairstyle can really change a persons look, and sometimes when drastic enough one can hardly recognize themself!  The new do symbolizes a new start. =)

Anyways...props to you for picking up on the habit.
