  • Wii fit

Last Thursday my husband bought us a Wii. It's super cool but what I really want for it is Wii fit. Pity it is so expensive. I've been looking on ebay.co.uk but the trouble is they are going up ABOVE the shop prices on there - well that's just silly, especially as it's going to be another 20 pound extra just to ship. I know they are hard to get hold of in the shops but I'm not going to be pay above and beyond just because I want to it quicker. No thank you. I'll stick with what I have got.

What have I got? Well a treadmill, a bicycle and a handful of workout DVD's. I also have the lovely summer weather and and a beautiful stretch of river to walk by.

My husband also said last night that once I've lost my first stone (14lb) then we can have a weekend away at the seaside. I love the sea but the trouble is, going by train, the sea....anywhere, is just too far for a day trip. I think we're going to go to Colwyn bay in North Wales. My mum has also said she's going to buy me a charm bracelet and for every stone I lose she's going to have a charm put on to it for me, so I can remember what I've lost - cool huh? It's nice to have su much support

  • Hey again

Hey sorry I've been AWOL for so long. The diet totally went out the window  and now I am the heaviest I have ever been. I had to go shopping today for clothes for my teaching practice. I had to get the largest sizes. I was so mad and upset with myself it took all my willpower not to cry right there in the middle of the shop.
Today however the healthy eating starts again. I've done really well with my food and am feeling pretty good now!

  • Busy Busy

Yesterday was a better day foodwise, I had some extra at tea time but had the points to cover it so that's ok. Today is going to be a busy day so I'll have to be careful I don't grab any old junk because I've run out of time. This morning I have to work in the shop, just for a couple of hours to srping clean then it's straight on to the train and bus home, at home I'm meeting my friend and her children as I haven't seen them in 4 months, back home to see mum and dad, back home to matt and get the Tesco delivery. Hopefully being busy will stop me from eating so much

    Breakfast:

    40g of Special K Bliss
    250ml semi skimmed milk
    banana

    Darn those burgers

Yesterday didn't go quite to plan as the chicken I was going to cook looked kinda funny. I don't like chicken that looks funny, that's just asking to get sick and for lack of anything else I ended up eating the burgers! *sighs* well at least I didn't follow it up with half a pack of cookies but with some fruit salad instead.

Today I am at the shop again. We don't have a lunch break since the business is small and we can't afford to lose an hours trade. Sometimes I pop out for 10 minutes to pick up something to eat but that always seem to end with me eating chocolate, so today I made a packed lunch - cheaper and healthier. Two things close to my heart.

    Conveyancing

    Breakfast:
2 slices wholemeal bread, 2 tsps of crunch peanut butter and 2 tsps low calorie jam

    Lunch:
Ham and Philadelphia Light Bap. Banana. Pear. Kiwi fruit. (I packed extra fruit as snacks because...well I get hungry!)

    Tea:
I've asked Matt to bring some fish back and I think I'll have rice or potatoes and some grilled corn on the cob. Yummy!
