I am in the mood to write...what, I do not know...but still the expressions must not be forgot...

Loved ones are never lost, they simply depart, our life paths change course and we are forever the richer for knowing them to begin with...our lives lose a gloss, they glow not so bright as the lights we have lost take there toll. The places were people once stood are now empty spots  in the soul...remember that relationships are here to enrich our lives but not to become our Gods...It is the true Creators job to fill us up...not that of the friend at your side, in your mind, or miles and miles across.

Wide open ocean, and a date line...will you tell me what tomorrow holds...on your side of the world? Jun and Miki, Masaa, and Max, will God ever set us on courses that meet again? I know not the answers to these questions...but I do know that I will always remember you, in my heart, and in my prayers...you will forever remain my friends.

My heart does rejoice though, for God is good, giving us relationships that touch our hearts, and being the constant unmovable force in our lives...so that we will grow to depend on Him more than anything else. It's as it should be...the people there to be our friends, our family, but God there to hold us in His hands. Lean not unto your own understanding, and so I say; that though I don't know why they came, and now have gone away...I will not try to comprehend, for the Lords ways are far to great. Instead I will just trust that everything will be okay!

I loved this! simply encouraging.  I have a friend that just lost his grandma, and you have given me thoughts as how to approach him.  Thanks, and keep walking with the Lord, no, why am I telling you to walk, when it seems you are running!

I Touched Hearts With You

There’s a comforting thought at the close of the day,

When I’m weary and lonely and sad,

That sort of grips hold of my crusty old heart

And bids it be merry and glad.

It gets in my soul and it drives out the blues,

And finally thrills through and through.

Et is just a sweet memory that chants the refrain:

“I’m glad I touched hearts with you!”

Did you know you were brave, did you know you were strong?

Did you know there was on e leaning hard?

Did you know that I waited and listened and prayed,

And was cheered by your simplest word?

Did you know that I longed for that smile on your face,

For the sound of your voice ringing true?

Did you know I grew stronger and better because

I had merely touched hearts with you?

I am glad that I live, that I battle and strive

For the place that I know I must fill;

I am thankful for sorrows; I’ll meet with a grin

What fortune may send, good or ill.

I may not have wealth, I may not be great,

But I know I shall always be true,

For I have in my life that courage you gave

When once I touched hearts with you.

You hugged me And the world went away for a few moments

While our hearts touched and spoke to one another.

Thank you so much for listening to my heart.

A lady who spoke at Unity Church of the Redwoods shared this poem at the close of her talk one Sunday, and it blessed me so. Tho original poem said, "rubbed shoulders with you" or something like that, but to her, that wasn't personal enough, so she changed it to "touched hearts" which is more personal and to the point. Late happy birthday! Love to you-Hummingbird
