Uh oh. She's in an orange hat. She must be a Campbell Student!
Kristine, you will be filled with envy to know that Campbell's colors are orange and black! Perhaps you should come down here to play soccer, hmmm?
Okay, pictures of my bedchamber!
This is my bookshelf, decorated with my many pretties! Note Phinny sitting on the second highest shelf. He likes his new surroundings, I think.
Here is my art table under the window so there's lots of natural lighting! A kind couple from my church helped me arrange everything, moving all the heavy pieces of furniture (since yours truly is something of a wimp), and helping me decide where to put things.
And here's the piece I'm working on at present. Started it early this morning, and it's going well, though nothing I do gives this cat a pleasant expression! I just hope the owners will be blind to her apparent lack of good spirits . . . .
Here's my reading corner, my comfy rocker, St. Augustine on the antique table, and Medusa giving an elegant glow to the whole setting. The kind lady who helped me move in called this my "sitting room," or my "parlor."
And here are my teddies! See my new teddy? The orangish one?
There you can see him! Matthew and I went Wal-marting yesterday, and I saw this fellow for only a dollar, and what's a girl supposed to do? So I bought him. (Please note, the red streak under my eye is not a scar or blood . . . it's paint. And no, I don't think I look silly in pig-tails).
And me with Charity and Erin , my last day at the Arensmeyers. Yes, I'm in pig-tails again . . . .
All right, time to get back to work. I need to start scheduling the rest of my life . . . or at least the next two school years. |
