Uh oh. She's in an orange hat. She must be a Campbell Student!

Kristine, you will be filled with envy to know that Campbell's colors are orange and black! Perhaps you should come down here to play soccer, hmmm?

Okay, pictures of my bedchamber!

This is my bookshelf, decorated with my many pretties! Note Phinny sitting on the second highest shelf. He likes his new surroundings, I think.

Here is my art table under the window so there's lots of natural lighting! A kind couple from my church helped me arrange everything, moving all the heavy pieces of furniture (since yours truly is something of a wimp), and helping me decide where to put things.

And here's the piece I'm working on at present. Started it early this morning, and it's going well, though nothing I do gives this cat a pleasant expression! I just hope the owners will be blind to her apparent lack of good spirits . . . .

Here's my reading corner, my comfy rocker, St. Augustine on the antique table, and Medusa giving an elegant glow to the whole setting. The kind lady who helped me move in called this my "sitting room," or my "parlor."

And here are my teddies! See my new teddy? The orangish one?

There you can see him! Matthew and I went Wal-marting yesterday, and I saw this fellow for only a dollar, and what's a girl supposed to do? So I bought him. (Please note, the red streak under my eye is not a scar or blood . . . it's paint. And no, I don't think I look silly in pig-tails).

And me with Charity and Erin , my last day at the Arensmeyers. Yes, I'm in pig-tails again . . . .

All right, time to get back to work. I need to start scheduling the rest of my life . . . or at least the next two school years.

Love the photos. You make your mum happy and proud, do you know that? You're going to make it, dearest, with class and style. God has His reasons for drawing you there, and you'll discover them in His good time. Just keep seeking His will and His wisdom, and you won't go wrong.

Fond hugs.

I'm going to be able to have ongoing projects in my room this semester... If I haven't gone and filled my schedule too full for art.

Hi Annie,

Cute pigtails.

My name is Cyndi ''aka'' Freedom.   I'm getting to know your beautiful mother again, similar to how we chattered endlessly during our bosom buddy days - I recall them as my most golden cherished memories from 25 yrs ago.

You met me when you were a baby in Washington & later on as a toddler at Green Oak Ranch in Vista, CA.  You met Geoff, too, as a toddler at Green Oak Ranch. He took you and Tommie to the tire swings & played with you both the entire time your mother and I reminisced with Sheriff Dan and his staff!  You were about 3 years old.  Do you remember playing at GOR?

Geoff also met you in England when you were closer to 7-8 years.  He remembers sorely missing his own children when he visited you all in England. As a result,  he recalls giving you piggy back rides, twirling you around & around & around, hearing your roaring laughter & touring castles with you & Tommie.  You were "so cute" he fondly remembers.  He remembers little Annie as having soo much energy - you always came back to him for more fun & games & you kept him energized like a faithful o'l Duracell battery.  His memories of you and Tommie are so fond & cherishable that he wanted me to write to you and tell you hi!     If you would be so kind, please tell Tom he said hello, okay?

You have the most exciting, rewarding, adventurous years to look forward to in life, as you take one day at a time & offer it all (the good & all your sufferings) for the glory of God.  I offer you: my warmest wishes, the very best & please know that "very special" prayers are offered to our heavenly Father for your good & the good of the whole church.

Sincerely & fondly,

Cyndi Baker
