In Desperation The Heart Can Be Fooled
The heart is quite a funny thing… it’s blind yet knows all... it’s tough and yet easily broken. The heart however strong and intuitive it is… it is still foolish. The heart through desperation can be tricked. It is true what they say about love being blind… it overlooks, by choice, things that it doesn’t want to see. The hearts blindness is selective. It aches and seeks out touch and feel… and ignores what happens in between the touches. Through the desperation of being wanted and loved the heart chooses blindness in a full attempt to be happy regardless. It doesn’t matter what the love looks like… just as long as the heart is warmed and cherished. However false the love may be… it cares not… for the heart is finally being loved. Everyone in life is in search of one thing… to be wanted, loved, comforted… to feel secure. And all of these things are interconnected to form the biggest want… happiness… and also the biggest fear… loneliness. Through desperation the heart can be tricked. The blind heart is lead by the hand down a darkened corridor, promised a life of comfort and security… only to be met with lies and deception that shatters the heart instantly into a million pieces. And then the blind lover is forced to find and put together something that once resembled a heart. The blind lover stumbles through the dark with the pieces of their heart shattered in their hand. What next? Even if one succeeds in mending it… will the heart ever work right again? Time heals all wounds… but the scar is there forever… it may not be visible to the naked eye… but the lover will always feel it./\ /\ Sorry... I'm just venting. /\ /\

Sorry to hear that.
However, you have a remarkable sense of self-awareness. Most people don't master that until much later in life. You are blessed.
But then I found it under the couch.
What happened to you? You posts keep those high standards.
But I must disagree: biggest fear loneliness? You always have yourself. Now I admit I have an advantage: having me is of course uncomparable with other people having themselves.
Are you really, really sure that the 'lightning like' fifth letter is not an E? Everything else points to that.
RYC: I'd love to come over, we would have a hell of a time, but since I quit smoking last year, I won't come to have that smoke.
PS: Did you draw that heart? I like it.
Hope the venting did what it was intended to do...
And about yesterday's post: Both you and your mom have very professional sounding voices. Wow, just another of your many talents!
