Lately...
Been buying and watching tons of Chinese DVDs...I've been preoccupied with them...and I recently spent a few hours in Chinatown looking for an old series...Six Dreams: Mute Wife and a newer one, Romance in the Rain. Shockingly, I found 'em! Woooohooo!!!!
(Cross my fingers and hope they play in my DVD player...they're VCDs. The online site for my DVD player suggests that it should but...)Oh, and I have a crush on Leo Ku
Yeah, I watched the Princess Pearl series...and currently Romance in the Rain...and I have his Moments CD too... Oh and M wants to kill me...I have a desktop wallpaper full of Leo's pics...he he he.
I'm a sucker for his smile and kind of sad eyes...(his hair sucks though...hehehe). Helps that he can act, and has a great voice too...
Drool...Job search has been real slow. This economy is slow, and it's scary going through it day-by-day... I had no interviews or anything this week. Sigh.

On the homefront, going to get contractors in for estimates on repairing my drywall, etc in the bedroom, ASAP. I have the 'okay' to do it...etc. Finally...only been about 5 months, but it's killing me. Hence why I am posting this at this early hour...damn kitties woke me up.
Brats!Last Saturday, we went to the Renegrade Craft Fair...here are some of the delightful finds...I'll let the pictures do the talking!
<--Mmmm...felt sammiches!
<--Totally wanted but...
<--FOB! All knit...that's a house in the box!
<--Totally cute!
<---knit! OMG!
<---Midwest and SF tees! Then we saw HellBoy II...it's good, but I'd suggest waiting for the DVD rental.... just didn't excite me as much as the first one. Selma Blair is hawt though!
Anyway...going to go wake up M for work, and then going to start my CDrama Marathon...tee hee. I'm puppy sitting tonight too...so it'll be fun! Can't wait to see Dark Knight...hope we get to go soon! No spoilers...I'll kill ya!
Have a great weekend! Take care.

Bad News: Toxic Mold
- Two of the units have toxic mold, throughout the walls, near vents, etc. Leaks from the roof, down to the units, and down into the laundry room, and a huge trail of mold along the way, inside the walls.
- My unit is still being investigated, as they have not been able to determine a leakage source nor any significant amounts of mold on the inner walls.
- There are total of 8 units in the building, and all have some damage in regards to the patio doors. They are under warranty but not sure under what capacity.
- All of these things need to be repaired/remedied, but the units with the toxic mold will definitely need litigation now. My unit may only need a 'ventilation' fix and it will be good as new.
- I'm not sure if I want to stay here at this place for the long haul now...just way too many complications.

Edit at 11 p.m.: - Well, I am fucked. We all are.
- There needs to be testing for all 8 units now, to ensure that we fix everything properly.
- We've incurred about $20,000 in costs for experts right now, and no repairs yet.
- We've been advised to install a ventilation system for the whole building.
- We are going to have to deal with litigation now.
- After discussing the finances with M (he's better with numbers), it would be best if I tried to recover the costs, which would be litigation.
- And we still have issues with the TIC agreement, as to how litigation is voted on, and how the costs are split/shared amongst us.
- And there is one tenant who is just anti-litigation, and refusing to pay for certain costs. Hence, we desperately need to consult a TIC attorney very soon.
- And I will have to stay elsewhere pretty soon.
- Fucking.Terrible.News.

Resolutions
I could say new year's resolutions...or maybe I should say resolutions for my life, in general...
- Lose weight, about 30-40 lbs.
- Exercise, I need to get back into any kind of activities! Maybe free yoga, go walking, biking when the weather lets up.
- Work harder, sleep more, play hard, and bum around less!
- Less selfishness. After being selfless with my parents' home for 18 years, and then spending college in complete and utter selfishness, I think I need to find a happy medium, and sometime soon.
- Consolidate/get rid of the recent credit card debts.
- Find a good job, that will make me happy and keep paying my bills.
- Take better care of my car. Either it's the weather, the parking or just my horrid driving. Sigh.
- Communicate better. Period.
- Communicate with my family more, even if it kills me, because my parents won't be around forever.
- Be more involved in my brother's life, even if there are 2,100 miles between us and a two hour time difference.
- Don't take my sister, boyfriend and friends for granted. They'll all only take so much from me.

“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”
