| lettersDear Homework, I know that your reign is not over, but I am over you.
Love, Emily Dear Life,
You are much better than you probably should be, but you're freaking me out. Sincerely, Emily Dear Computer,
You are excellent at distracting me. Bravo!
Cordially, Emily
Dear God,
Oh, wait. I never write you letters.
So sorry, Emily |

| I won't let them take you. This CD is incredible. Buy it. Also, this weekend I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO. It's so fantastic. I literally slept in the whole morning, after hanging out with some neato people last night. I didn't have band practice on Thursday, I didn't have to play at a game yesterday, and I don't have a competition today. Isn't that incredible? Yeah, I agree. Hopefully I will get the physical and spiritual mess in my life to take a few steps toward ORDER as well.

| black is the night...I feel that a "true" xanga post is in order, but so much has happened. so much is happening. so much will happen.
I am busy. My classes are difficult. I care too much about what other people think and I am overwhelmingly afraid to let them down. I love the people in my life, but a lot of the time I don't like them. I'd like to know what's going to happen, but if I did, then it probably wouldn't happen.
I find that a very literal way of "putting God back into my life" is reading the Bible or praying when I feel like eating, calling someone, or crying--which is what I usually revert to in times of stress.
I am relieved that this week is over, but not really... because more stress is to come! |
