Hmmm...get some little shoe cushion thingies to pad the pressure points so they don't rub against your feet too much. 

And btw...it's not going women who have a shoe fetish.  

I'm a guy who loves shoe shopping, and I've learned to just deal with the pain.  After a while your foot just goes numb and you can't feel the pain that that fab pair of Italian shoes I just had to have is now subjecting my foot to.

I've asked women why they love shoes so much and they tell me they are another accessory. They also tell me that they often look at a guy's shoes to see what kind of guy they are. Dirty shoes = dirty person perhaps?

Breaking in shoes sucks... all I know is that you should try on/buy shoes in the afternoon or evening, because your feet are bigger than in the morning (someone told me that).

oh... my god... as a Gay man... I love my fitted jeans and shoes. Nothing came close to them before my bf. My bf knows what drive me crazy when we shop in those items. It is like an art in finding a good fit in jeans, shoes and bf! haahaa!

I agree with Aaron. You should rethink the shoes. I never had to "break-in" any shoes in my entire life, hence no blisters and no pain at all haha.

And I don't understand women's obsession with shoes. I do have an obsession with them from time to time [hence I don't think you can call it an obsession lol], but yeah, I still don't get it. Let me pretend I'm Carrie and sleep on that :P.
