One More Day to Go...
Today is the last day I can get to do stuff before the big day starts tomorrow. I need to make sure that I have everything ready and prepared for Friday night's fun and games as well as Saturday's whole day fun & games affair. I need to keep our guests entertained.
I was just informed that there will be quite a lot of kids in attendance, which was a relief since the games I planned were specifically to make kids...well, less cranky I should say! -LoL- And I hope I am doing the games sign-up thing right. I am assigning my sister and four other "teens" to be the GO-TO sign-up person. Now all I need to do is make sure the five of 'em will ne in-sync with one another and make sure that the ones where I specifically noted there's only a maximum of such and such players/teams allowed, they'd better talk to one another about it! I am giving them each a sign-up form sheet so that our guests can approach any one of 'em.
OK, I think I better make a note to myself to remind the "Kids" (that's what we dubbed us young'uns -- the offspring) to always check with each other BEFORE signing up peeps. Hmmm...maybe I should just leave a sticky note on the games that there's a limit on how many players can sign up for it.
Friday night games I don't have any problem. That one we'll just pick from the crowd who wants to join. I'm so excited I can't wait to start the games! -LoL-
That's all what I'm after, really, is the fun and games. I ain't worrying much about the food, as long as the guests are happy and enjoying whatever game's prepared for 'em, I'm glad. I mean, that is one way of making sure this weekend's camping gathering's a success -- EVERYONE HAD FUN!
I soooooooooo want this weekend to be a succeess just because of all the crap our group's been receiving from others who...grrrr! Some people are just...well, they're all jealous-freaks or someother thing close to that definition. It wasn't really our fault that our little radio group's more popular than theirs or that my dad's pretty much well-known by other amaeteur radio operators across North America and outside the continent! That's what happens to the person who always makes an appearance at the yearly get-together we're hosting this year. If the said operator's an avid amateur radio person, he OR she would make damn sure to attend one any of the yearly conventions held across North America and sometimes it's taken outside the North American continent!

You are a big kid at heart yourself! You sound more excited about the games than anything!
@brownpixie - hehehe, yes, I'm guilty of that! -grins- I'm a big kid at heart and I really love the games and watching people do their best to win such and such prizes.
“See that sharp stick?” “Yes…” “Don’t make me have to pick it up.” :P
Oh, and Nadal won, yeyeyey~ Did you ever figure out who to root for? :) It was a pretty long match, lasted pretty much all day. Goofy rain had to interfere too, bah.
@ChaoticLeaf - Yeah, Nadal won, and I ended up rooting for BOTH since Nadal and Federer showed off quite some fancy moves on the court there. -LoL- And my weekend was fun. It was very tiring but fun nevertheless.
sounds like a busy weekend, but I hope you had fun
