| | Today we cleaned out the garage. Now before you applaud too loudly, it still has a lot of useless stuff in it, but it now has LESS useless stuff in it. Like the little pink bike that was here when I moved in. Or the grill with the broken ignitor. Also came with the house. Some outgrown carseats and baby bathtub. (Hmm, the 'baby' is 5, I think it's time.) Grandma's lawnmower and gas can. And a LOT of trash. We filled up 2 big black bags with trash, and several cardboard boxes and a big trashcan with recyclables. We -gained- a big heavy desk, though. Whoops! It will be a welcome addition to the toyroom when I get my butt in gear and back in the house to get that set up. All in all, I feel like we accomplished quite a bit.  even swept the place. We'd swept the space where we park recently, but not under and around all the other stuff. You shoulda SEEN the pile of leaves. Wow. Reminds me of one good reason to close the darn door.  |
