| | Ahh Lovely day as far as the sun was shining and birds were singing...and its Spring Fest week "Carnival"! I didn't get to stay for long or see/talk to as many people as I wanted to because I had to head over to choir but...it was fun while it lasted! Rob painted a "franch" flag on my hand while Matty D feed me chicken, dyed a T-shirt with Dani and Stern and Mike (thanks Mike!, talked with Sam and Chris, tried on Chris's glasses and was told I looked like an 80's gangsta...and then hurriedly left with Sara so she could miss singled out! Then met up with Torz who threatened to throw me out of a 3rd story window so I could land in my car through the sun roof...ahh good times!
So I was reading a poem in the counseling office today by an old CHS grad and thought it was pretty! Enjoy...
Always She By: Keegan Gibson Her happiness becomes the atmosphere Like Perfume spreading gently through the air Or sweet, melodic music to the ear Exciting ever sense, each thought ensnares. Her voice ignites such ardrous affection That words are only shadows of her grace Her beauty so embodies true perfection Angelic light glows beaming 'round her face'.
Whilst some men spend their lives in day to come And more live theirs in search of glories past On choosing past or future I am numb I would that present time should, ageless, last.
Though life's true meaning ever hidden be The purpose of each day is always she.
