  • Media Abuzz About Bachmann

    The media and blogosphere is abuzz about the conduct of Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) after the President's State of the Union Address.  After the conclusion of the State of the Union, it is customary for the President of the United States to sign the programs of some of the Congressional attendees.  Bachmann was one of those wishing for an autograph.  What she did after receiving her autograph has gained her national attention.  Bachmann held firmly onto the shoulder of the President for a full 30 seconds, even while he signed more autographs and kissed another lawmaker.  You can watch the video below.

    So what.  She held on to him to get her taken.  Wouldn't you want your picture taken with the president at the State of the Union if you could?  If the president doesn't care, why should we?
