Toilet Paper and Global Warming
If you thought last Friday's story about cremation was bizzare, you'll love this one. Singer Sheryl Crow, who is crossing the United States on a biodisel bus, has proposed limiting the use of toilet paper to one square per bathroom visit in effort to combat global warming. She understands that in some situations, people may need to use "2 or 3," and that's ok to her.The Quilted Northern quilters union has come out against such a proposal saying that it would eliminate thousands of jobs of workers who hand sew each square.
