• Sheehan: Impeach Bush or Face Me

  In recent times, anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan is becoming more and more bipartisan.  In her attacks, she equally blames the Bush administration and the Democratic controlled Congress for failure to end the war in Iraq.  Neither governmental entity got the memo. 

  Now, Sheehan hopes that the Democratic party will get the memo when she runs against Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in 2008.  Sheehan told Pelosi that if she did not introduce articles of impeachment against President Bush by July 23rd, she would run against Pelosi as an Independent.  Pundits actually think that this threat will help Pelosi present herself as more of a centrist.
