For Newt, It’s Over Before it Begins
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA) announced Saturday that he would not seek the presidency. This came after and earlier announcement that Gingrich would form an exploratory committee. Legal advisors had warned Gingrich that his non-profit organization, American Solutions for Winning the Future, would be in jeopardy if he continued to flirt with a White House run.Gingrich refused to endorse any candidate for the ’08 election, saying that he would wait until after the nomination is decided.
