The objective of this weblog is to focus narrowly on the AA program. Generally weblogs are much broader is scope. Writers discuss their program and a variety of other subjects. This weblog will be different in respect to subject matter. It will discuss strictly AA without distractions. A web blog dedicated to AA's singleness of purpose, the program, recovery from alcoholism, and helping others. 

The Webring, Friends of Bill W,  was created with the same idea in mind. I would invite anyone who is interested in blogging on the AA program to join. I believe public anonymity is important and we should maintain our anonymity. The internet is an interesting technology in that respect. It is a public forum but offers personal anonymity. Anyone who wishes to participate in this discussion should set up a blog in a way that would protect their identity. In other words, without your full name, identifing information or picture.
